Delete your data

You can ask First Love Church to delete what the Pastoral Assistant holds about you at any time. The privacy policy explains what we collect.

On WhatsApp

  1. Send delete my data to the First Love Church number you messaged.
  2. Reply DELETE within 24 hours to confirm.

We then delete your data from all our WhatsApp numbers, usually within a few minutes.

On Facebook Messenger

  1. Send delete my data to the First Love Church page.
  2. Reply DELETE within 24 hours to confirm.

By email or through a pastor

Email tech@firstlovecenter.com or tell one of our pastors. Include your name and the WhatsApp number or Facebook name you used, so we can find your conversations. We complete requests within 30 days.

What we delete

  • Your messages, voice notes, photos and documents.
  • Notes, prayer requests and testimonies from your conversations.
  • Your name, number, and any contact details, groups or tasks a pastor recorded for you.
  • The book links we sent you and your download history.

What we keep

  • Anonymous counts, such as how many messages we answered, which don’t identify you.
  • A record that you asked for deletion and when it was done, and a scrambled form of your number, so we don’t contact you again by mistake.
  • Copies in our encrypted backups, which expire within 13 months.
